“Nice to meet you, Mary!” She smiled. “So are you new in town?”

“Yes…lost.” Mary grumbled as she talked, the blondie really didn’t want to admit she went farther than she was supposed to go.

Headcanons;

• Mary first discovered that she could move from her painting about one year after she was painted. Truth be told Guertena had used witch craft to make her come to life and so Mary could live a happy live with he and his wife. After awhile though, he was disappointed when he thought the craft hadn’t worked, and he locked away the painting only for it to be discovered many years later and for it to be displayed. 
• After watching watching many people come in and out of the gallery, she developed her own sense of adulthood. Saying please, thank you, being polite, ect.. However, she’s still 9. Nine year olds will be 9 year olds u feel me.
• When Mary had first made it into the real world, the first place she went to was an elementary school. She had recalled that Ib had told her something about school, and remembered her saying something about lots of other kids played during a thing called ‘recess.’ Upon reaching the school, she had been disappointed when she saw a gate around the playground, and just pressed her face to the gate, staring in with some amazement, some of the kids had noticed her but disregarded as to one kid who actually waved at her. It really made her happy, and for awhile she visited the school to see that other kid. He stopped showing up, and Mary did too.
